About Rebecca Moody

In 2020, I was diagnosed with ADHD and autism at 27 years old during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Before that, I had been placed on a Performance Improvement Plan at my job with a large organization within the United States Government. I had always realized there was something different about me, and there had been many other signs before this moment. Things that came easily to other people regarding relationships, friendships, the logistics of daily living, and especially in career always felt harder for me.

From 2020-2025, I was signed to various acting and modeling agencies both in Denver and Los Angeles. For the last two years of my acting and modeling career, I was doing this work full time. One thing I was not prepared for during that two-year period was how many people wanted to pay me to speak on my experiences of being autistic. Sharing my special interests and successes with both autistic young adults and their families brought me tremendous joy.

In August 2025, my husband and I moved from the Denver area to Southern California’s Inland Empire to be closer to my family. I decided I needed a slower pace of life, and I took a break from acting and modeling. Instead, I found work at a day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and cultivated my talents for job coaching. Now, I’m ready to pass on everything I’ve learned to late-diagnosed autistic women ready to build their best lives.

Over the last six years, I have developed tools and strategies that have helped me live my best life as a happily married autistic woman who thrives when she’s self-employed and in control of her own destiny. In addition to being paid to speak and write on my experiences as an autistic woman and having coached other disabled adults, I have also gone through life coaching myself. All of my experiences have helped me so much, and I love passing on what I have learned through life coaching.

I hold a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Colorado Denver and a bachelor’s degree in human services from Metropolitan State University of Denver. My education and training in tandem with my lived experiences has taught me how to hold space for others without judgement and treat clients as the experts of their own experiences. These are all things you can expect from me as a life coach.

I have also been studying new thought and self-help since I was a teenager. I have thoroughly studied the works of John Kehoe, Rhonda Byrne, Don Miguel Ruiz, Gabrielle Bernstein, and Amanda Frances. Over the years, I have considered self-help and new thought to be a special interest of mine but have often found many teachings to either be impractical or inaccessible for neurodivergent minds. This is a gap that I hope to bridge as a life coach.

Speaking of special interests, as an AuDHD (autistic and ADHD) woman, I have rotated through lots of special interests throughout my life. However, there are a few that I return to over and over again. And you’ll see many of them pop up in the work I do and how I’ll show up for you in sessions. I have always loved fashion and self-expression through clothes and makeup (many of you who came to me probably knew me from my cosplay days).

I love writing and telling stories. I love art and music. I have also been an astrology enthusiast since childhood. In early 2026 I began using all I had studied about astrology over the years to offer natal chart interpretations. I truly believe that our special interests are guidance (even if we’ve been made to apologize for them because someone else thought they were weird or frivolous), and my job as your life coach is to help you listen to your own inner guidance without judgement.

When I’m not making art, I can be found at home trying out a new recipe, relaxing with my two cats, or going to the gym with my husband (whom I’ve been with since we were college sweethearts!) I am always looking for a chance every day to live my best life.

My goal is to help you see the beauty in your talents, your special interests, and the unique way you see the world. I can’t wait to help you live your best life.
